21 Must Try Drinks in the Cayman Islands

The CENTURY 21 Lifestyle Team put their heads together and came up with 21 must try whether you are visiting or living in the Cayman Islands. We admit that a little field research was required but your intrepid CENTURY 21 Thompson Realty agents go the extra mile. In this case we may have gone a few extra miles! So here is the list:

Rum Punch

Every establishment has their version of this beverage. Frankly we are partial to the version served on Cayman Airways!

Mudslide

This rich chocolatey concoction can be had with or without the alcohol but head to Rum Point Club and The Wreck Bar where this drink was invented.

Cayman Lemonade

Who doesn’t like a glass of refreshing lemonade on a bright sunny day?

Gin and Tonic

A refreshing cocktail appreciated far and wide is taken to a whole new level when made with the locally handcrafted gin at Anchor & Den.

Watermelon Lush

Watermelon on its own is pretty refreshing and wonderful let the mixologists at Luca have a go at it and it becomes superbly lush.

Candied Popcorn Old Fashioned

Award winning mixologists from the restaurant Seven at The Ritz Carlton have created an amazing twist on this classic drink.

Stingray Kiss

After a day of playing with the stingrays at Stingray City Sand Bar head to Blue Cilantro and continue the stingray theme with this drink.

Bittered Sling Brandy

Another award winning team of mixologists can be found at Eduardo’s and this drink will have you understanding why.

Red Snapper

The Catboat Bar at the Westin takes a Bloody Mary for a new spin in this Cayman Islands version of the drink.

Fins To The Left

A different spin on a margarita comes from the folks at the 5 o’clock Somewhere bar at the Margaritaville Resort on Seven Mile Beach.

Hopped Up

We are guessing you haven’t had your kombucha quite like this. Try this unusual hand crafted cocktail at Ave at the Seafire Kimpton hotel at the upper end of Seven Mile Beach.

Cayman Mint Julep

Head over to the Tiki Beach Bar and try this refreshing take on the classic mint julep.

Mango Margarita

No list for drinks would be complete without a margarita. The folks at Casa 43 have created the perfect margarita with their Mango Margarita.

Plantation Martini

Head over to The Grand Old House and try this Caribbean twist on the classic martini.

Limoncello Sunrise

With its citrusy house made limoncello, this drink is worth the drive out to The Lighthouse Restaurant.

Daiquiri

Just like with margaritas, every beach bar is bound to have a daiquiri but hop on one of the ferries to Kaibo and check out one of their many fruity options.

Caybrew Flight Tasting

Caybrew offers tours and flight tastings. Check out this homegrown brewery and decide which one of their beers is your favorite.

Wine

Head over to Camana Bay where you will find West Indies Wine Company offering a unique wine tasting experience.

Kraken Stormy

The name alone makes this drink worth trying but add in spiced rum, lime juice and ginger beer and we think it’s a winner. Check out this drink at Craft.

Rum Tasting

It’s the Caribbean and that means rum! Cayman Spirits Co. offers a tour of their distillery that ends in rum tasting!

Mojito

Whatever island you are on, there is going to be a version of a Mojito. Head to Karoo to enjoy their take on this classic drink.
